This is the first of three sessions from our series "Blended Finance in agrifood systems: The case of Latin Amerca and the Caribbean".
In this session, we learn about the urgent need to finance sustainable agrifood systems in Latin America and the Caribbean, a region rich in biodiversity but increasingly vulnerable to climate change and ecosystem degradation. Agrifood systems—central to food security, livelihoods, and climate resilience—remain critically underfinanced, receiving only 8% of global climate finance despite accounting for 24% of the region’s emissions.
This initiative is a collaboration between Climate Policy Initiative and Convergence as part of our CC Facility's Learning Hub.
